Getting the Dungeon Map

After entering the Stone Tower Temple - head through the door on the west. Continue west and blow up the cracked wall with a bomb. Now break a couple of the crates and pull out the block. Pull it out and push it onto the switch to the south.

Put on the Goron Mask and create a statue on the northwestern switch. Use both the Zora Mask and normal Link statues on the other two switch to open the gate forward. Head north under the gate and bomb the western cracked floor.

Continue through the northern path down the stairs and use the Mirror Shield to shine light on the sun emblem. Use Goron Link to travel across the lava to the big chest, which contains the Dungeon Map. If you have not already - kill all of the Armos to spawn another chest, which contains a Small Key.

Getting the Compass

Return to the north and go up the stairs. Unlock the door to the east and enter it. Use Zora Link to swim over to the east side of the room. Climb up on the ledge and use Deku Link to water hop over to the switch on the south side of the room. Press it and open the big chest, which contains a Small Key.

Using Zora Link - swim through the path to the north to come to a big water filled room. Dive down to the floor and press the switch to the south guarded by the spike mines. This will spawn a chest we cannot quite reach yet. Surface and climb onto the center ledge.

Use the Mirror Shield to shine light on the mirror to the south for a short while. Now run over to the mirror - now emitting light - and use the Mirror Shield to shine light on the sun emblem. Head west and open the big chest for the Compass. Now head back north and go inside the locked door.

Getting the Light Arrows

Once inside - use Goron Link to punch the pillar, which will expose a light beam once knocked all the way down. Use the Mirror Shield to shine light on the western mirror for a short while. Now run up and shine the light from the mirror onto the next mirror to the west.

Use that light on the sun emblem to the north. Continue going north and enter the door. Use the Deku Flower to fly into the air. Go north and hit the wind spurt. Continue do this until you reach the end of the path with a door and a chest with a fire ring.

Go inside the door and get ready for a mini-boss. A simple and safe method to for defeating the mini-boss is by targeting him, blocking until he disappears, and then running towards where he vanished. Quickly attack when he appears behind you and block again immediately to block the counterattack.

Shielding against attacks is crucial to this battle. Repeat those steps until the Garo Master is defeated. A dialog will happen and a big chest will appear, which contains the Light Arrow. Now exit through the door to the south.

Flipping Stone Tower Temple

Climb onto the small piece of metal and jump across to the platform. Use the hookshot to expose the vulnerable spot of this enemy and defeat it. Enter the door to the south for another fight. Dodge the creature's attacks and shoot his eye with arrows to damage it.

Repeat until it is defeated and enter the door to the south. Hop down and climb up the ladder to the south. Exit the Stone Tower Temple and shoot the red stone above the entrance with a Light Arrow. Hop back across and enter the temple again. Everything will be turned upside down.

Head up the path to the east and enter the door. Shoot the sun emblem with a Light Arrow and continue down the path. Use the Deku Flower and the wind spurts to access the center platform above. Continue down the path to the north and press the switch.

Return to the previous room and open the big chest for a Small Key. Now hop down into the western wind spurt to access the highest level of the room. Head northwest to the locked door, being sure to dodge the spike mines. Unlock and enter the door.

Shoot the red stone on the opposite side the room, which will turn everything upside down. Now use Goron Link to reach the other side and shoot the red stone again to turn everything upside down again. Continue west through the door and shoot the red stone to flip the room.

Now pull the block in the southeast corner to the center of the room. Flip the room and pull the block across to the north of the room. Flip the room and move the block to the northwest corner. Flip the room once more and push the block all the way west to activate a switch.

Flip the room again and head to the center west side of the room. Flip the room one last time and head through the western door for a mini-boss fight. Defeat the mini-boss like the last several times you faced it. Use the hookshot on the newly spawned chest to reach the platform.

Getting the Boss Key

Now head west down the stairs and hop into the Deku Flower. Use it to fly over to the eastern side of the map. Use the next Deku Flower to head into the opening to the south. Continue south to find a switch and leave a statue on it with Elegy of Emptiness.

Head west to the big chest to get a Small Key. Now travel back to the north of the room and jump down to the door. Enter it and shoot one of the spike mines so that it swings into another one. Use the Deku Flower to fly over to that ledge and use the next Deku Flower to fly over to the eastern door.

Enter it and continue east to the next door. If you get cursed - play the Song of Storms. Enter the eastern door for another mini-boss. Target him and shoot the mini-boss with a Light Arrow. It will cause the bats to leave or it to come towards you.

Either way - attack it and quickly dodge or shield against the counterattack. If you have no magic for Light Arrows - just stay away from the creature and it will eventually send the bats after you. Run up and attack the mini-boss and defend afterwards.

Repeat until it is defeated. Go into the door that becomes unlocked to find a big chest, which contains the Boss Key. Exit back to the mini-boss room and head back to the next room to the west. Go down the short hallway and exit into the western room.

Getting to the Stone Tower Temple Boss

Shoot the spike mines across the void like earlier and use the Deku Flower to reach that platform. Use the next Deku Flower to make it to the far west side of the room. Head south to find a door and enter it. Shoot the enemy to the south with a Light Arrow to make him flip over.

Jump over to the platform, which causes the enemy to slam down onto its head and destroys it. Now press the switch to cause a chest to spawn to the east. Hookshot the chest and head to the locked door to the north. Enter the door and kill the enemy across the path with Light Arrows.

Continue north and enter the door. Go north - dodging the moving spikes - and hit the crystal switch to spawn a chest. Head back south and hookshot the chest above. Hookshot the target above to fall behind the spikes. Hop down below to find the boss door and enter it to find the Stone Tower Temple boss.

Stone Tower Temple Boss: Twinmold

Twinmold is the Stone Tower Temple boss. Hop down the hole to start the battle with the creature. Start the fight off by shooting the 3 eyes on the bottom of the blue one and then shoot the giant eye with Light Arrows. Now do the same thing except it has 5 underside eyes instead of 3.

Finish off the blue one by shooting the giant eye with more Light Arrows. It will die and a big chest will appear, which contains the Giant's Mask. Equip it and prepare to finish off the red one. While being giant Link - you must punch the red Twinmold.

Make sure to dodge when it shoots fireballs at you and kill any small ones to recover magic and hearts. Repeat this until the Twinmold falls to the ground and pick him up. Swing him around and Link will slam it on the ground. Repeat this several times until Twinmold is defeated.

Now head over to the center of the area and pick up the Heart Container. Go into the portal to get the Twinmold's Remains. A cutscene will happen and Link will be returned back to the top of Ikana Canyon to begin the last journey on the quest to defeat Skull Kid.
