The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the long-awaited sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It's still referred to as Breath of the Wild 2 (BOTW2) by many fans. It's set in the same Hyrule as Breath of the Wild and also features an open world. The game will also introduce floating sky islands, similar to those found in Skyward Sword, that can be flown between. The game will be released for Nintendo Switch on May 12, 2023.
