Swords

Kokiri Sword - Kokiri Forest

If you go to the left of the house of the Know-It-All Brothers, you will notice an area surrounded with fences. Make your way through the fences and you will come to a small tunnel that you can crawl through. Once you come out of the tunnel, turn left and you will notice a boulder rolling around. Follow the path of the boulder down a grassy pathway. When you get to the end of the grass, you can either go left or right. Turn right and you will see a big chest. Open it for the sword.

Master Sword - Temple of Time

After collecting all three spiritual stones and the Ocarina of Time, play the Song of Time in front of the alter in the Temple of Time. After some cutscenes, you will be able to pull the sword out if the pedestal. This will trigger another cutscene. After you regain control, the Master Sword will be yours.

Biggoron Sword - Death Mountain

You receive this sword from giving the Eyedrops to Biggoron and waiting a few game days. Follow our Biggoron Sword guide for full details.

Shields

Deku Shield

This item is acquired from the item shop in Kokiri Forest for 40 rupees.

Hylian Shield

You get this shield from the item shop in Hyrule Town Square. It costs 80 rupees unless you have talked to the guard near the entrance of the path that goes to the Goron City. If you talked to the guard first, you will receive the shield for only 40 rupees.

Mirror Shield - Spirit Temple

(As an adult) after you defeat the Iron Knuckle at the top of the temple, enter the newly unblocked door. You will find a chest outside. It contains the Mirror Shield. This shield can reflect certain magic attacks back at the foe.

Tunics

Kokiri Tunic

You start the game with this tunic.

Goron Tunic

At the bottom floor of the Goron City you will notice a wall with two bomb flowers growing on each side. You cannot pick up the bomb flowers though because they are growing on the wall. So in order to bomb the wall, place a bomb near the wall or do the follow; from the bottom floor head up the stairs until you come to the next floor, now head left and go up the stairs, pick up the bomb flower and run down the stairs and jump down to the bottom floor, now run near the door and place the bomb flower near any of the other ones. This will cause the wall to get blown up and a path will be revealed. Head into the path and you will come to a Goron item shop. You can purchase the Goron Tunic for 200 rupees.

OR

(As an adult) travel to Goron City and you will notice a small Goron rolling around on the floor below. Use a bomb to make him stop rolling and he will talk to you. After talking to him, he will give you the Goron Tunic. It allows you to stand on hot areas for an amount of time, just don't drop into a sea of lava.

Zora Tunic

You can purchase this tunic from the item shop in Zora's Domain for 300 rupees.

OR

(As an adult) travel to Zora's Domain and go to the top and you will notice that King Zora is now frozen in red ice. You can use some Blue Fire from the Ice Cavern to unfreeze him. Once unfrozen, talk to him and he will give you the Zora tunic. It allows you to breath underwater.

Seed Bags

Deku Seed Bullet Bag

You receive this item when you get the slingshot.

Big Deku Seed Bullet Bag

Enter the Lost Woods and head down the path to the right. If you look ahead, you will see and ladder and what looks like a target hanging from a tree. Use your slingshot to shoot the target in the center. You will see the number 100 appear on the screen. Do this three times in a row and a Deku Scrub will appear and give you the Big Deku Seed Bullet Bag. This item allows you to hold 40 seeds.

Biggest Deku Seed Bullet Bag - Hyrule Market

(As a kid) go to the Shooting Gallery and play the mini game. If you hit all the targets, you will receive the bullet bag. It allows you to hold 50 seeds.

Scales

Silver Scale

Go to Zora's Domain and head all the way up to where King Zora is sitting. Take the path to the left of him and you will find a Zora. Talk to him and he will offer to let you play a diving game. Accept and he will toss 5 rupees into the water below. Just jump off the cliff and collect all of the rupees within the time limit and the Zora will give you this item. The Silver Scale allows you to dive deeper into water. Instead of only having 3 seconds, it gives you 6 seconds.

Golden Scale

(As an adult) go to Lake Hylia and make your way towards the Fishing Pond. You will notice an area near the cliff that Navi turns green around. Play the Scarecrow's Song to make Pierre appear. Use your hookshot to make it up to the ledge. Now enter into the fishing pond and pay 20 rupees to fish. Catch a 15+ pound fish and show it to the man. He will give you the Golden Scale. It allows you stay under for 9 seconds.

Bomb Bags

Bomb Bag

You get this bag in Dodongo's Cavern.

Big Bomb Bag - Hyrule Market

(During the day time) enter the bombchu alley. Talk to the lady for a change to play a mini-game. It costs 30 rupees per game. Eventually, you will get a chance to win this item from the game.

Biggest Bomb Bag - Goron City

(As a kid) you will notice a giant Goron rolling around on the middle level. Use a bomb to make him stop twice and he gives you the bag. It allows you to hold 40 bombs.

Quivers

Quiver

You receive this when you get the Fairy Bow. It allows you to hold 30 arrows.

Big Quiver - Kakariko Village

Go to the newly opened Shooting Gallery in the middle of the town. It's the game mini-game from Hyrule Market. Get a perfect score and you will win the quiver. It allows you to hold 40 arrows.

Biggest Quiver - Gerudo's Fortress

Go to the Archery mini-game in the back of the fortress. Use Epona's Song and get on Epona. Talk to the lady and play the game. Score 1500+ points and the lady will give you the quiver. It allows you to hold 50 arrows.

Wallets

Child's Wallet

You start out with this wallet. It allows you hold 99 rupees.

Adult's Wallet - Kakariko Village

Go to the house of Skulltula after you have collected 10 tokens. There will be a child that has been cured. Talk to him and he will give you the wallet. It can hold 200 rupees.

Giant's Wallet - Kakariko Village

Go to the house of Skulltula after you have collected 30 tokens. There will be a child that has been cured. Talk to him and he will give you the wallet. It can hold 500 rupees.

Shard of Agony - Kakariko Village

Go to the house of Skulltula after you have collected 20 tokens. A cured child will give you the shard. It appears on the screen in the corner whenever you are near a secret.

Gerudo Token - Gerudo's Fortress

You receive this after saving all of the carpenters from the hideout. It allows you free access to the Gerudo's territory.

Goron's Bracelet

After you play Saria's song for Darunia (the Goron leader), he will give you the Goron's Bracelet which lets you left up heavier items.

Gauntlets

Silver Gauntlets - Spirit Temple

(As a kid) after you defeat the Iron Knuckle at the top of the temple, enter the newly unblocked door. You will find a chest outside. It contains the Silver Gauntlets. They allow you to pick up heavier objects; however, they can only be equipped as an adult.

Golden Gauntlets - Ganon's Castle

(From the entrance to the Shadow portion) use the longshot to get to the chest on the left of the screen. Use the Fire Arrows to light the torch on the right side of the room. Some platforms will appear. Use the hover boots and you should be able to make it to the next portion of solid ground. Note that a Like Like is waiting for you. I found it easier to kill the Like Like before lighting the torch. Light the torch near the door at the end of the passage. Take the platforms across to the next segment of floor and you will notice a switch on the right of the screen down below you. Light the torch again and use the platforms to get to the switch. After hitting the switch, a chest containing the Golden Gauntlets will appear. Use the longshot to get to it. The gauntlets allow you to pick up even heavier objects then the Silver pair.

Spiritual Stones

Kokiri's Emerald

You receive this after beating the Deku Tree.

Goron's Ruby

You receive this after beating Dodongo's Cavern.

Zora's Sapphire

You receive this after beating Lord Jabu Jabu.

Medallions

Light Medallion - Temple of Time

After pulling the Master Sword out of the pedestal, you will see a cutscene. During the scene, you will receive the Light Medallion.

Forest Medallion

You receive this after you beat the Forest Temple.

Fire Medallion

You receive this after you beat the Fire Temple.

Water Medallion

You receive this after you beat the Water Temple.

Shadow Medallion

You receive this after you beat the Shadow Temple.

Spirit Medallion

You receive this after you beat the Spirit Temple.
