Our Link's Awakening Switch Secret Seashell guide will cover the location of every Secret Seashell in the Link's Awakening remake for Nintendo Switch. There are 50 Secret Seashells to be found in the game. Collecting enough will grant you the Seashell Sword from the Seashell Mansion.
Link's Awakening Switch Secret Seashell Locations
Secret Seashell #1
Secret Seashell #1 is one of the prizes from the Trendy Game in southeast Mabe Village. You'll need to collect the Yoshi Doll and Heart Piece before it will appear as a prize.
Secret Seashell #2
On the east side of Mabe Village, there is a patch of bushes surrounded by grass. Chop down the bushes here to reveal Secret Seashell #2.
Secret Seashell #3
After getting the power bracelet from Bottle Grotto, you can pick up a boulder near the south entrance of Mysterious Forest. This leads the way to a treasure chest containing Secret Seashell #3.
Secret Seashell #4
Use the shovel (can be bought at Mabe Village Shop) to dig up Secret Seashell #4 in the bottom right corner of Madam MeowMeow's doghouse.
Secret Seashell #5
Re-enter the Tail Cave dungeon after getting some bombs. From the dungeon entrance: go up, left, then up a room. Bomb the cracked wall to the left and enter this room. Inside is a treasure chest containing Secret Seashell #5.
Secret Seashell #6
After getting the power bracelet, you can lift the boulder in front of the stairs just west of the Witch's Hut. Chop down the bush here and use the shovel to dig under it and find Secret Seashell #6.
Secret Seashell #7
Directly east of the Seashell Mansion and near the warp portal you can cut down some grass to find Secret Seashell #7.
Secret Seashell #8
Directly southwest of the Seashell Mansion you'll find an area filled with moblins and cone-like stones. There is one normal boulder here, hidden beneath it is Secret Seashell #8.
Secret Seashell #9
Enter the cave to the west of the location of Secret Seashell #8. This is in the region of Ukuku Prarie south of Kanalet Castle. Bomb the wall on the left side of this cave to reveal a secret passge. Go up the stairs and left into the next room. Push the boulder in the hole to the left, then wrap around to the bottom boulders. Push the third boulder from the bottom right and the boulder above it up to create a path. Head outside and dig to the bottom-left of the Owl Statue to find Secret Seashell #9.
Secret Seashell #10
In Martha's Bay, just south of the cave that Secret Seashell #9 is found in, head east of the telephone booth. You'll find a single bush in the corner bordering the water. Slash it to find Secret Seashell #10.
Secret Seashell #11
Take the warp portal to Ukuku Prarie. Head northeast and the south of the tree with the beehive to find a giant cracked skull. Use a bomb on it and then dig underneath where it was. You'll find Secret Seashell #11.
Secret Seashell #12
Head all the way east on Toronbo Shores until you find a washed up log between two trees. There is a little notch of sand to the bottom left against the cliff. Dig here to uncover Secret Seashell #12.
Secret Seashell #13
In the center of the Mysterious Forest, there is a patch of blue flowers. Dig in the middle of them to uncover Secret Seashell #13.
Secret Seashell #14
In the far northwest corner Mysterious Forest, near the exit to the swamp, dig on the left wall just below the tree to find Secret Seashell #14.
Secret Seashell #15
Just north of the phone booth near Goponga Swamp, there is a patch of grass surrounded a single bush. Slash it down and dig under it to find Secret Seashell #15.
Secret Seashell #16
As you exit Goponga Swampe and enter Tal Tal Heights from the west you'll see a direction sign. Pick up the boulder to the right of it to find Secret Seashell #16.
Secret Seashell #17
Go to Tabahl Wasteland, the wooded area just south of Dampe's Shack. Go to the norheast corner and along the right wall you'll find a dark circular spot of dirt on the ground. Dig here for Secret Seashell #17.
Secret Seashell #18
Directly right of the warp portal in Tal Tal Heights, there is an elevated pit in the ground. Toss a bomb into it and it'll spit up Secret Seashell #18 for you.
Secret Seashell #19
After finding all 5 Golden leaves in Kanalet Castle, return to Richard's Villa and tell him the good news. He'll open the path to a cave below his house for you. If you follow the left path in this cave you'll find a chest containing Secret Seashell #19.
Secret Seashell #20
Head north from the entrance of Key Cavern. On the ledge, you'll find a patch of bushes. Dig in the center of them to uncover Secret Seashell #20.
Secret Seashell #21
In the southwest corner of Toronbo Shores, there are four trees by a staircase down into the sand. Ram into the bottom-right tree using the pegasus boots and out will pop Secret Seashell #21.
Secret Seashell #22
After having Marin sing 'Ballad of the Wind Fish' for the Walrus blocking the entrance to Yarna Desert, he will flop into the water. If you play the song for him again on your ocarina (standing where he was) he'll toss up Secret Seashell #22.
Secret Seashell #23
In Yarna Desert, head east from the pit of quicksand. Here you'll find an Owl Statue. Dig next to the cacti directly south of it to uncover Secret Seashell #23.
Secret Seashell #24
Go to the southeast portion of the Yarna Desert and follow the wall to the right. You'll find yourself on an elevated path on the cliff that ends with two boulders. Pick up the bottom one to find Secret Seashell #24.
Secret Seashell #25
Go to Animal Village and head southwest. Cross the bridge to a small island with an Owl Statue. Dig to the left of it to find Secret Seashell #25.
Secret Seashell #26
In the Ancient Ruins, there is a formation of four Armos statues near the top-center of the area. The bottom-right statue is hiding a staircase beneath it. Follow this staircase down into a cave that contains a chest with Secret Seashell #26.
Secret Seashell #27
Go directly north of the Ancient Ruins to find an area with many tektites and boulders. Lift the boulders and check out the top-right corner bordering the water with a lone boulder. Lift it up to find Secret Seashell #27.
Secret Seashell #28
Head to Tail Cave anytime after getting the pegasus boots. Just west of the entrance there is a lone tree standing in the clearing. Ram into it to get Secret Seashell #28.
Secret Seashell #29
Head to the phone booth just east of Mabe Village anytime after getting the pegasus boots. To the right of the booth is a tree. Ram into it to get Secret Seashell #29.
Secret Seashell #30
Complete any four of Dampe's challenges in the Chamber Dungeon builder and you'll be rewarded withSecret Seashell #30.
Secret Seashell #31
There is a waterfall that sits between Tabahl Wasteland and Tal Tal Heights. If you have the flippers, you can dive at the very bottom of it to find Secret Seashell #31. The easiest way to access it is to start swimming west from the entrance of Angler's Tunnel.
Secret Seashell #32
Near the warp point of Martha's Bay, there's a house belonging to a pink ghost that you'll meet after completing the Angler's Tunnel dungeon. You'll need to hop over three potholes located south of the warp point using Roc's Feather and the pegasus boots to get to the house. Inside, break the pots in the bottom-right corner to find Secret Seashell #32.
Secret Seashell #33
After getting the flippers, head back to the entrance of the Key Cavern dungeon. There's a small body of water here with a few very small islands. On one island there is a single bush. Slice it down and you'll find Secret Seashell #33.
Secret Seashell #34
After completing the Angler's Tunnel dungeon, head to the Trendy Game shop in Mabe Village. Here you'll find Secret Seashell #34 is up for grabs on the moving platforms in the back.
Secret Seashell #35
You'll need to complete a great deal of the Trading Sequence to get this shell. After trading the Hibiscus to Christie the goat in northeast Animal Village, you'll need to deliver the letter she gives you. Upon doing so, return to her and she'll reward you with Secret Seashell #35.
Secret Seashell #36
After getting the flippers, head to the south part of Martha's Bay. Directly south of the phone booth, you'll see a small area of water and an island with a lone bush. Slice the bush on the island to get Secret Seashell #36.
Secret Seashell #37
After getting the magnifying lens from the trading sequence, go back to Animal Village. Enter the house in the northeast corner and you'll find a previously invisible Zora. Speak to it to get Secret Seashell #37.
Secret Seashell #38
After getting the hookshot from Catfishs's Maw, make your way to Kanalet Castle. In front of the western moat of the castle, you'll find a line of 5 pits. Hookshot across and go down the stairs. Open a chest to get Secret Seashell #38.
Secret Seashell #39
While playing the Rapid Raft mini-game, use your hookshot to make your way to a small island in the middle that appears to be empty. Rather, it has Secret Seashell #39 that can be unearthed in the top-right corner using your shovel.
Secret Seashell #40
To get Secret Seashell #40, you'll need to complete the Rapids Race mini-game in less than 35 seconds. This is a little tricky, but just learn the route well and then use your hookshot to get to the end as fast as possible.
Secret Seashell #41
Secret Seashell #41 is acquired when navigating through the Face Shrine dungeon. You'll need to exit the dungeon at the top-left corner to find the chest containing it. For more details on how to navigate the dungeon to get there, check out our Face Shrine Walkthrough.
Secret Seashell #42
Sometime after completing the Angler's Tunnel dungeon, return to the fishing mini-game in northern Mabe Village. The rare fish from the Super Mario Bros. Series, Cheep Cheep, can now be found. Catch one to get Secret Seashell #42.
Secret Seashell #43
Sometime after completing the Face Shrine dungeon, return to the fishing mini-game in northern Mabe Village. The rare fish from the Super Mario Bros. Series, Blooper, can now be found. Catch one to get Secret Seashell #43.
Secret Seashell #44
On the eastern side of Tal Tal Mountain Range, there is some deep water. Under the waterfall here you can dive using the flippers to find Secret Seashell #44.
Secret Seashell #45
In the central-northern part of the Tal Tal Mountain Range, there is a house that contains a man and some roosters. To the left of it, there is a hole surrounded by stone that sits between the current height and the level below. Toss a bomb in the hole to get Secret Seashell #45.
Secret Seashell #46
In the northern part of the Tal Tal Mountain Range, head east from the rooster house. Cross the wooden bridge until you see three boulders in the corner. The top-right boulder can be lifted and you'll find Secret Seashell #46 beneath it.
Secret Seashell #47
There is a cave on the eastern side of the Tal Tal Mountain Range that leads to the Eagle's Tower dungeon. Enter it and bomb the wall to the north. Head up the stairs in the next room and then push the boulders in the room with many chests. Exit outside to the south and open the chest containing Secret Seashell #47.
Secret Seashell #48
This shell is found deep within the Eagle's Tower dungeon. After defeating the Red Hinox mini-boss, jump through the holes on the left side of the screen. From here, head up on this narrow ledge until you find a chest containing Secret Seashell #48. Check out our Eagle's Tower Walkthrough for more details.
Secret Seashell #49
In the western part of the Tal Tal Mountain Range, directly west of Mt. Tamaranch there is a series of ledges with falling boulder obstacles. Climb to the top of these and on the upper cliff you'll find Secret Seashell #49 beneath a boulder in the top-right corner. To get to this area, you'll need to navigate through the caves starting in the eastern part of the mountain range if you haven't yet reached the western warp portal.
Secret Seashell #50
Warp to the Western Tal Tal Mountains warp point and head left. In the nearby area, use your shovel to dig around the bottom-right corner. Here you'll unearth Secret Seashell #50.
